This place is literally the BEST auto mechanics shop hands down!!! These people are honest, hard working licensed mechanics that really know their stuff. My car stalled mid-driving and wouldn’t re-start. I had just purchased my 2018 Mazda a couple months ago from a dealership. Jason came to check out my car where I had parked it. At first glance, he couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t start either. He got the “okay” from me to have it towed to the shop to take a deeper look at it. Within 24 hours he called me back to ask me questions about when was the last time I filled my tank with gas. I said I had just filled it 5 mins before it stalled at the BP on E.Lakewood between Holland and Zeeland. “That explains it…” he said. He saved a sample of the liquid in my tank and said that my tank is about 80% full of WATER!!!! He recommended that I call the gas station to have them pay for the nearly $850 repair (including towing costs). They waited to hear back from the gas station just in case Merel Boes needed to send someone to look at it before the repair. Merel Boes was easy to deal with and admitted that one of their filters were down that day, so they took care of my repair costs, towing and my car rental costs for that entire week while Maplewood Auto had to drain my fuel tank, clean it and put everything back. They got it fixed in 24 hours from the minute I gave them the okay to start working on my car. They even checked out the remaining of my engine and offered an oil change since it was almost due! When it was ready to be picked up, Jason even picked me up from the local car rental place to bring me back to my Mazda. Maplewood Auto is such good hearted people. I highly recommend their services and I won’t go anywhere else!
